About Twelve Houses: Free Astrology and Human Design

What Twelve Houses is

In plain EnglishTwelve Houses is a free website where you enter your birth details and get your astrology chart and your Human Design chart, explained without jargon.

We offer birth charts, Human Design charts, compatibility and the daily sky. Every tool links to pages that explain each sign, type and center in plain English. The idea is simple: a chart is only useful if you can read it.

The site was started by a former law enforcement officer who got curious about charts. It is owned by Hive Asset Group, LLC.

Why both astrology and Human Design

In plain EnglishThe two systems use the same birth data but ask different questions, so reading both shows more than reading one.

Astrology asks what your themes are. Human Design asks how you are said to make decisions and spend energy. Both need your birth date, time and place, and both produce a chart.

We show them together because the same person looks different through each lens. Neither is science, and we say so on the pages that matter. Our comparison, astrology vs Human Design, explains the overlap in detail.

How the math works

In plain EnglishWe calculate real planet positions from your birth data, then apply the rules of each system to them.

Positions come from a Swiss-grade ephemeris, which is a table of where the Sun, Moon and planets were at any moment in history. For astrology we offer two house systems, Placidus and Whole Sign, because astrologers disagree about which is better, and you can switch between them.

Human Design needs a second calculation. Its Design side uses the moment the Sun was 88 degrees earlier in the zodiac, roughly 88 to 89 days before birth. Positions from both moments are then placed into the 64 gates of the bodygraph. The astronomy is real. What each system says it means is interpretation.

Editorial standards

In plain EnglishEvery page is written by people, reviewed, and dated honestly.

• Original writing. We write our own explanations. We do not copy other sites or books.
• Reviewed dates. Reference pages show a real reviewed date, updated only when the content changes.
• Birth-time labels. Pages about public figures carry a reliability label: exact from record, approximate, or unknown time. We say where each birth time came from, because a wrong time can change a Rising sign or a Human Design profile.
• Both sides. We describe the gift and the trap of each placement. We do not promise outcomes.
• No advice. We do not give medical, legal or financial advice, and we avoid frightening readings.

Pages are signed “Twelve Houses Editors,” not an individual.

What we do not do

In plain EnglishWe keep the reading honest and the pages clean.

We do not give match scores we cannot compute. We do not use fear, and we do not put sales pitches inside reference pages. Paid readings exist, but they live on their own pages, and the free tools stay free. When astrologers or Human Design teachers disagree, we say so once and move on.

In plain EnglishA small company owns Twelve Houses, and you can reach a real person by email.
